Where to buy organic and healthy food a walk or short ride from My Khe Beach and An Thượng — bulk refills, dried fruit, clean groceries, plus the local market.

You can buy clean groceries, fresh produce and specialty health foods near My Khe Beach without crossing the river into the city center. This guide covers the best walkable shops in the An Thượng grid, the supermarkets a short ride away in Sơn Trà, and how to shop or order delivery without speaking Vietnamese.

The beach side of Da Nang is small and easy to get around. Every shop on this list falls into one of two tiers:
Most beach-side shops sell "clean" or VietGAP-labelled food rather than certified organic. That is completely normal in Da Nang and perfectly fine for everyday cooking. For what the labels actually mean — VietGAP vs GlobalGAP vs certified organic — read our city-wide organic food guide.
You also do not need Vietnamese to shop here. Two tools cover almost everything: Zalo (Vietnam's main messaging app) for ordering delivery, and a Google Maps pin to show your Grab driver.
For a proper weekly haul — fresh produce, meat, fish, eggs, and pantry staples — these clean-food supermarkets are your best options. They are all a short ride from the beach.
A well-stocked clean-food supermarket carrying over 5,000 products. You will find VietGAP and GlobalGAP-labelled vegetables and fruit, fresh meat and fish sourced daily, eggs, dairy, rice, and packaged goods. They also stock specialty items from across Vietnam: Ngọc Linh ginseng, green lingzhi mushroom, forest honey, and Noni. You can comfortably cover a full weekly shop in one trip.
Holand's Mart interior at 167 Nguyễn Văn Thoại, Sơn Trà — bright multi-floor clean-food supermarket with staff and "#I❤HOLAND'SMART" display.
A clean-food shop on the eastern edge of the beach zone, focused on VietGAP and GlobalGAP-certified vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, eggs, and rice. They are primarily Zalo-based — most customers order online for delivery rather than walking in — but a physical location exists at 819 Ngô Quyền.
NongPro clean-food supermarket interior at 819 Ngô Quyền, Sơn Trà — refrigerated produce and grocery display.
Moonmilk is a European-style premium food market — the best beach-side option for imported dairy, Western baking ingredients, and deli items. They stock organic and grass-fed dairy, premium meats (Japanese beef, Australian lamb), imported cheese and cold cuts, fresh-baked bread and croissants, plus a broad pantry range (pasta, rice, sauces, wine, craft beer). There are four branches within the beach zone. We cover the full imported-range in our imported organic products guide.

For nuts, seeds, granola, miso and specialist health staples rather than a full grocery run, these smaller shops are worth knowing.
A small natural-goods and superfood shop in Mỹ An, selling nuts, seeds, granola, and dried healthy-pantry items — a short walk from most of the An Thượng strip.
Mellow Station Danang tại 55A Dương Tự Quán, Mỹ An — cửa hàng thực phẩm tự nhiên và superfood gần An Thượng.
A macrobiotic (thực dưỡng) shop and vegetarian eatery in An Hải, a short ride from the beach. The retail counter stocks a genuine range of macrobiotic staples: brown rice (short-grain, long-grain, black rice), miso paste, tamari, sea salt, dried seaweed (kombu, wakame, nori), dried beans (adzuki, mung, black bean), sesame seeds and gomashio, umeboshi plum paste, kuzu starch, millet, barley, and natural vinegars. You can also eat in — the kitchen serves macrobiotic sets, miso soup, steamed vegetables, pickled sides, and seaweed salads, mostly 30,000–70,000đ a plate.

Best known as a plant-based café, iVegan's An Thượng location also sells take-home items: cold-pressed juice bottles, kombucha, raw cakes and protein balls, packaged sauces and jars, and superfoods (spirulina, coconut yogurt, coffee — also available to order from their website). It is café-first; the retail section is smaller but genuine. Very popular with expats and highly rated.

A refill shop with 400+ items. You bring your own clean jar or bottle, fill it from the bulk bins, and pay by weight — no packaging, no waste. They carry a broad range across three categories:
They also sell reusable accessories: beeswax wraps, produce bags, bamboo toothbrushes, silicone bags, stainless steel straws, and compostable bin liners. Glass jars are available to buy on-site if you forget your containers.

Bắc Mỹ An Market at 25 Nguyễn Bá Lân, Bắc Mỹ An, Ngũ Hành Sơn — stalls of fresh produce and local goods.
For the cheapest and freshest produce near the beach, skip the supermarkets and head to the local chợ.
This is the main neighbourhood market for the An Thượng and My Khe area — it has served the community for over 30 years and has 4.4 stars from over 4,700 Google reviews. The morning section (6:00–11:00am) is where you come for fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, seafood, meat, eggs, and tofu. In the afternoon the market shifts to street food and snacks. There is no VietGAP certification here — this is a traditional wet market, which means produce is fresh and local but unlabelled.
How to shop:
Go early. Produce is best between 6:00 and 11:00am. By the afternoon the good stuff is mostly gone.
Buy what is in season. Piled high and cheap = local and fresh. Ask "bao nhiêu?" (how much?) and have small notes ready.
Bring small VND notes. Vendors do not take cards and rarely have change for big bills.
Wash everything. Fresh and local, but not certified. Rinse well, and buy small amounts often — in beach heat it does not keep long.
Type: Local fresh-produce market (Tier 1)

The most useful section for health-conscious shoppers is the fridge area with VinEco and VietGAP-labelled greens — a reliable step up from street-market produce when you want clean vegetables without a special trip. They also carry standard dairy, packaged goods, and household basics.

Where is the nearest An Phú Farm or Organica? Both chains have no beach-side branches — their stores are across the river in Hải Châu and Thanh Khê. An Phú Farm does deliver. Plan a trip across or order in; our organic food hub maps all their locations.
